Sarah Socha is a professional storyteller. At a young age, she was writing short stories and poems and nonsensical diary entries that were destroyed upon adulthood. Working in marketing communications in the higher education sector, Sarah realized being a writer is not just the craft of fiction, but creating content for a wider audience that reflects on the human experience in some way.
Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies with concentrations in multimedia journalism and strategic communications. She then went on to complete her Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts in creative writing with a specialization in fiction from the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University.
While at Wilkes, she accumulated awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, The Keystone Press Awards and Etruscan Press. She was also named a Tom Bigler scholar.
When she isn’t writing, you’ll find Sarah crafting, reading just about anything she can get her hands on and binge-watching Hallmark Channel romances.
